A brand new event comes in partnership with the Femme Filmmakers Festival as we get ever closer to the 11th edition of the online film festival. The Femme Student Scriptwriters Showcase continues our student film involvement in creating a scriptwriting contest.
There will be prizes, which we are still polishing up, but we can confirm that we are in discussions with Laura and Chris from CinePlatform and our prize-winner from last year, Louisa Connolly-Burnham, who are providing essential educational prizes for us.
To give you a bit of clarity regarding submission criteria, we would ask that entrants be from students with currently in education or recently graduated, that they are unproduced scripts, and female writers (though collaborations with other genders and identities is accepted). It is free to submit your script. Closing date is Monday 10th August 2026.
