As Barbra Streisand said just seconds before announcing Kathryn Bigelow as the Academy Award recipient of the Best Director prize – the time has come. In this case, it is the somewhat grand moment we declare the short film screening reservations open for the 10th edition of the Femme Filmmakers Festival.
You don’t need to queue for hours for that elusive ticket. You won’t need to check in at the airport as you can watch all of these films online. And you also don’t need to tell your kids to kiss their higher education goodbye, because the screenings are absolutely free.
That said, we are giving you the opportunity to make any form of donation purely in support of our festival and the many, many amazing people that help make it work. Completely voluntary of course. Note: the email address [email protected] is my personal account but every penny goes back into the festival.
And also a big thank you to Shayma, who is saving my skin organising these 120+ online screenings.
